Soulless but Found

I take my coffee steaming and lacking depth.
It’s a habit I took when I was sick with
Brittle nails and a baggy dress.
But you would never know that beneath
That glamor was a calcium and collagen
                       Deficient bone.

I took my men freezing and confused;
I kicked that by the time I saw my soul
Glitter like diamonds on the soles of shoes.
Transcend norms and customs, I have
Met love to pass time slowly with and
                  Then fade away. . .

I take myself by the hour, cause any--
One knows I’m subject to change
Just like flickering channels on the
Telly as you stay home from work, but
Nothing quite suits your mood is my
                          Everyday.
